We headed back to the Sunshine state for Christmas and although it was more about catching up on lost time than an actual vacay, it didn't disappoint! That special time of year is all about being near to the ones you love and thankfully we were able to do just that.
It's became a tradition to have matching PJs on Christmas Eve/Christmas morning so we had to follow suit :)
Just some Christmas dinner in our Christmas cracker hats.
My sweet SIL.
My in laws also came to Florida for Christmas and after spending Christmas day with my family we went to theirs for boxing day {known to us Americans as the day after Christmas}.
Sadly I didn't capture many pictures there :/.
My parents joined us on Boxing Day evening.
S's precious grandparents. Seriously...she could sub for the Queen.
My sweet father-in-law
The ping pong match cheer section.
We spent a little relaxing time by the pool.
S and I managed to sneak off for a little weekend getaway.
We chose Celebration...quaint, beautiful, quiet and simply perfect.
I'd suggest if you're ever in Orlando give it a go!
Our little bike adventures.
We ended our mini vaycay by kicking up our feet in Downtown Disney.
It was then back home from some quality time for a week before we had to head back over the ocean.
Game night, it's serious business.
Squeezed in a Strawberry date.
Before we knew it, it was time for the dreaded goodbyes.
Until next time sunshine. We'll be back soon...and then it's cruisin' time!

Sounds like and looks like you had a wonderful time!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a really great time home! I love Orlando and I lived there for a short time last year, but never made my way to Celebration, I'll have to give that a try sometime!! That looked like such a nice NYE at the Aquarium. I've also never been there, but it looks like a classy way to ring in the New Year's! And then ending your vacay at DD, perfection!!
