Our weekend through the eyes of InstaLove...
Dates; On Saturday S and I set apart time for ourselves and had a wonderful date day strolling the snowy parks and village shops. The sun was out, as was our smiles, and it made for a great day!
Drinks; we ended the evening with an incredible cup of hot cocoa, perfect treat to round out the day.
Daydreams; The theme in church these past few weeks has been on dreaming the dream and fulfilling the purpose that has been set before each of us. Today I took some time to reflect and daydream. A resounding quote today was from Victor Hugo which says, "Each man should frame life so that in some future hour, fact and his dream meet." Our dreams should be so big that we need faith to fulfill them and have the faith to believe now that in the future they will one day flourish..
Dessert; Tonight was S's Granny's birthday! Although the electricity went out at the restaurant and we resorted to a Chinese takeaway, it was still lovely to be surrounded by family to celebrate the beautiful life of our very own "queen".
I hope you all had a fun-filled or relaxing weekend!

Cute mugs!!
ReplyDeleteStrolling through snowy parks and hot cocoa... it sounds like you're learning to adjust to the climate change. Hot cocoa always makes the cold more tolerable. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
Crazy that the electricity went out...but Chinese is kinda my favorite :) so that was a good second option.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful weekend!
